Language Jungle and Oxygen Adventure

Hello my dear reader. I know you are most probably a new member of my blog (it is possible to you are veteran reader of blog; anyway) (Actually I must explain to name of the blog. Every lawyer [I hope] knows that there is a law notion named “Bone fide third person”. Yeap, that notion is named in Turkish as “Iyi niyetli ucuncu kisi”. My blog’s name is coming from that notion. Yes I know it is hard to understand but it is kind a funny and clever blog name –between lawyers- in Turkey. Just it) and I want to talk with you via this Blog. You will read them all with a familiar and warm language. I promise. (Not crossing fingers) (It is possible to write also in German. But it is too early to me. I am rookie for German now my reader) Well… Shall we begin? Sollen wir beginnen? (Rookie-German-Blogger? Sure?) If so, LET’S GO! Los gehts!

To learn and even interiorize / internalize a language takes years. That is clear. No doubt about that. Because I know that to learn a new is not learn only daily conversations, reading / writing articles or listening complicated debates. In shirt, it is observing. It takes for years because it (learning a new language) likens to a tree with roots. It must be growing up to deep of the language lands. Water of this tree is culture and acculturation. (How can I find “water”? We need a river dude! Where is that f+cking river? It is in streets of cities. Just talk [swimming in this metaphor] with people! At least, hear them. Don’t be drawn into vortex of headphones!)(I am not sure about that is a funny article :/ Come on Writer! Turn on English mode) (He is soliloquizing, mad? MAD BLOGGER ALERT) Learning a new language does not expand to vocabulary. To go, to come, to speak, to eat. (I am learning Turkish with my handsome [handsome? :D] blogger: gitmek, gelmek, konusmak, yemek) They are ordinary words and can’t hold you in a language storm of culture or native speakers’ adaptation process. You need to grow your roots (You understand the metaphor, did not you? Yes I guess so too) with learning language tricks and culture’s effects to the language.

Besides, I can make a great suggestion to expand or grow the roots of language adaptation: (Sunshineeee) (Cliché is comiiiing) to feel free. (What? I am already free. Hmm…) I am meaning that, it is too important to make contact or communicate with people who are living at street (metaphor, not real) and it is key of the reach to the deeps of the language ocean (another metaphor? Come ooooon! Growing the tree is already pretty good). Because, people scare from mistaking while they are talking with native speakers and it is a huge barricade between mind or brain and language. (In our metaphor, it is shadow). However that fear causes to un-socializing while trying or pushing to learn a new language. Feel free to make mistakes and I am sure that helps to make a smile in faces. (From book of “7 ways to make a woman laugh”) (It is joke, don’t take me serious… What? Did you pass to other tab? Google it? Come oooon it is not a real book [I guess]).

And air of our tree is, repeating it. In other words, to make practices. (In German, “Übung macht den Meister”) Until interiorize it. By speaking, writing, reading or listening. It is your decision. It depends to you and your interests. For example, watch your favorite movie (The Lord of the Rings? It is more than 3 hours for one film. Are you kidding me?) until memorize every scene with new language. Or translate your favorite song in your mother-language and repeat it in home. Write a diary in that language. Without fear of making mistakes. You can make anything you want to learn it. It is your journey to learning a new language.

In conclusion, without scaring, with observation and patience it is too easy (Easy? Haha I wish a microchip that help to learn a new language. It is easier than learning German. The life is too short to learn German :D) learn (INTERNALIZE) a new language. One language is one tree. One tree is Oxygen (der Sauerstoff) to our brain. More oxygen, more “high quality of life”, more friends, more cultural adaptation, less conflicts, less wars, less hate (less Voldemort) less closed minds to new ideas. Yes I know, I am babbling. That was not our subject. (Politics alert)
